This Privacy Policy explains how Plan4U (“we”, “us”, the “App”) collects, uses, and shares your information when you use the Plan4U calendar and planning app. By using the App you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a user identifier and, depending on your settings, your name and email address.
Profile information. A nickname you choose, and optionally a phone number and a profile photo you add.
Content you create. Events, tasks, reminders, notes/descriptions, comments, and invitations you create or receive in the App.
Notification tokens. A push-notification token so we can deliver reminders, invitations, and comment alerts.
Technical & preference data. Your app language/locale and subscription status.
How we use your information
To provide core features: creating and syncing events/tasks, reminders, sharing and collaboration.
To send notifications you have enabled (reminders, invitations, comments).
To manage your subscription and premium access.
To operate, secure, and improve the App.
Third-party services
We use the following providers to operate the App. Your data is processed by them under their own privacy policies:
Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging) — account, profile, content and notification data storage and delivery.
Adapty — subscription management and purchase validation.
Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, and (if you enable Calendar sync) on-device access to your Apple Calendar.
Anthropic (Claude) — if you use AI Quick Add, the text you enter is sent to Anthropic’s API to convert it into a structured event. It is not used to train models.
Sharing with other users
When you invite someone to an event or post a comment, the relevant content (such as the event title, your nickname, and your messages) is visible to the other participants of that event.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the App: Profile → Personal Details → Delete Account. Deleting your account removes your profile, the events you own, your invitations and notifications, and your authentication record. Some data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before being purged.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) and stored on Google Cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
