The short version

ReelMore collects nothing. There is no account to create, no server to talk to, and no analytics or tracking of any kind. Your videos, photos, captions, drafts and settings stay on your device.

What ReelMore stores, and where

• Drafts — the projects you edit, including references to the clips you imported, captions, text, stickers and music choices. Stored locally in the app's sandbox.
• Imported media — copies of the clips and photos you add to a project, kept on the device so drafts open without the original files.
• Imported fonts and audio — files you bring in from Files, stored locally.
• Settings and presets — preview quality, caption language, Brand Kit and presets. Stored locally.
• Purchase status — a flag that the app reads from the App Store so Pro stays unlocked offline.

None of this is transmitted to us. We have no way to read it, because we never receive it.

Permissions ReelMore asks for

• Photos — to import the videos and photos you pick, and to save exported videos to your library. Access is limited to what you select.
• Camera — to record clips inside the app. Only used while you record.
• Microphone — to record sound with the camera and to record voice-overs.
• Speech recognition — for auto captions. Recognition runs entirely on the device with Apple's on-device speech engine, so no audio leaves your iPhone. You can confirm this by generating captions in airplane mode.

Every permission is requested in context, and ReelMore remains usable if you decline the ones you do not need.

Network access

ReelMore works fully offline. The only network requests the app makes are to Apple: the App Store for purchases and, on first use of a caption language, the download of Apple's on-device speech model. If a future version adds an online GIF library, the search text you type would be sent to that provider to return results; nothing else about you would be shared, and this policy will be updated before such a feature ships.

Third parties

ReelMore contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs and no third-party trackers. Purchases are processed by Apple; ReelMore never sees your payment details. Apple's own handling of purchases is covered by Apple's privacy policy. Videos you share to other apps are governed by those apps' policies.

Children

ReelMore is rated 4+ and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because no personal data is collected or stored by us, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete. Deleting the app removes everything ReelMore has kept on your device. Videos you already saved to your photo library stay there and are yours to manage.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
