Tremo — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 September 2026
Tremo is a rattle app for parents of infants. It is built so that your data stays on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. Tremo has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no third‑party SDKs. We do not collect, transmit or sell any personal data.
What stays on your device
- Child profile (optional name, birth date) — stored locally to pick age‑appropriate sound sets and hints.
- Play diary (durations, gesture counts, sets used) — stored locally with SwiftData.
- Voice recordings ("My voice") — stored locally in the app's Application Support folder. They are never uploaded. You can delete a voice profile at any time in the app.
You can remove all of it by deleting the app.
Microphone
The microphone is used only when you record "My voice" and, optionally, when you run the speaker latency test. Audio is processed on the device and is not sent anywhere.
Motion sensors
The accelerometer and gyroscope are read during play to turn movement into sound. Motion data is not stored beyond the aggregated counts shown in the diary.
Purchases
Tremo+ is sold through Apple's In‑App Purchase. Apple processes the payment; we receive no payment details. Purchase status is cached on the device.
Export
The diary can be exported as a JSON file only when you explicitly choose Export; the file goes wherever you share it.
Children
Tremo is designed for parents. It shows nothing to the child: during play the screen is black and the app does not collect any data about the child beyond what the parent enters.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the same address with an updated date.
