Hears the cry. Soothes before you wake.
Nocta listens through your iPhone's microphone at night, recognizes crying on the device and starts a soothing sound by itself. It adjusts the volume gently, keeps a diary of the night and learns which sounds help your baby.
No. Audio is analyzed in the moment on your iPhone and is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere. Nocta works fully offline. See the Privacy Policy.

At least 2 metres (6 feet) from the crib, screen down or on a stand, with the bottom speaker unobstructed. Start quiet: a gentle level is enough.
A phone call pauses the sound and resumes it afterwards. Very low battery or another app taking over audio can stop it. Keep the phone charging overnight and do not close Nocta from the app switcher.
Yes. Sound follows your current audio output. If headphones disconnect, the sound continues through the speaker so the night is not interrupted.
By default it plays the sound you selected in the stream. With Nocta+ and Auto-pick enabled, it plays the sound that has calmed your baby fastest in the past. After enough nights the best sound is offered first.
