Privacy Policy

The short version

Nudgo collects no personal data. There is no account, no server, no analytics and no tracking. Your motion data and your diary stay on your own devices.

Motion

• During a session you start, Nudgo reads the Apple Watch accelerometer and gyroscope to notice when your hand moves toward your hair, face or mouth. This is processed on the watch, in memory, and is not sent anywhere.
• If you turn on passive recording (Pro), the watch uses the system motion recorder to estimate moments over the day. The raw motion never leaves the watch; only hourly counts are shared with your iPhone.
• If you use the optional data recorder in Settings, the recording is sent to your own iPhone and saved in the Files app. It is only shared if you share it yourself.

Health

Nudgo does not read any health data. Sessions longer than an hour run as a Mind & Body workout so they can keep running; the workout is saved to Health only if you turn that on in Settings.

What Nudgo stores, and where

• Moments: time, which gesture, how you responded and which replacement action you chose.
• Sessions: start, end and length.
• Your calibration, settings and favourite actions.
• Context marks you set through Shortcuts automations.
• Purchase status read from the App Store.

All of this is stored on your Apple Watch and iPhone and synced between them over Apple's WatchConnectivity. If you turn on iCloud sync (off by default), it is also stored in your own private iCloud database, which we cannot access. We never receive any of it.

Network access

Nudgo makes no network requests of its own. Purchases are handled by Apple's App Store (StoreKit), and optional iCloud sync by Apple's CloudKit.

Third parties

Nudgo contains no advertising and no analytics SDKs. Purchases are processed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.

Children

Nudgo collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete. You can export your diary or delete everything in the app's Settings; deleting the app removes what Nudgo has stored on the device.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
